UNIT INFORMATION:

THIS IS A CASHLESS CAMPUS. YOU NEED TO HAVE CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR ADDITIONAL FLOOR CREW, CONCESSIONS, ETC.

  • If it is not raining, units will have a short distance outside immediately leaving the competition floor. Consider foot wear.
  • The entrance into the gym is crowded. It is a shared space. Please prepare students for this. NTCA will have additional staff to help ensure the contest flow is as smooth as possible.
  • BISHOP LYNCH IS EXCLUSIVELY CASHLESS (INCLUDING CONCESSIONS): PLEASE PREPARE STUDENTS AND PARENTS FOR THIS.

  • TAPE AND PAD ALL PROP CORNERS, FEET OF CHAIRS, LEGS OF TABLES, METAL EDGES, ANY EXPOSED AREA THAT WHEN DROPPED COULD POTENTIALLY DAMAGE A SOFT WOOD FLOOR.
  • MARCHING BAND PROPS: If you use them indoors, take a walk around and be sure there are no points that could scratch/dent/damage a floor or other surface.
  • Remember to check the bottom of your props for bolts, raw wood, etc.
  • Remember that when bringing in props in pieces, this is when some helpers or performers set edges on the gym floor. MAKE SURE you TAPE & PAD any area coming into or leaving the gym that could do damage.
  • Rain is possible: It is recommended to put a painters tarp (or the like) over your floor and props (wrap like a present) to prevent water entering the facility while loading and unloading
  • Bring plenty of towels in case your props/floors get wet
  • Assume rain even if it is not raining when leaving your school
  • Bringing in a wet tarp, cart, props, equipment, etc. is subject to penalty

ALL UNIT STAFF MUST HAVE MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATION FORM AND THE NTCA CODE OF CONDUCT SUBMITTED ON/BEFORE 1/10/24 IN ORDER TO RETAIN ELIGIBILITY.

UNIT DIRECTORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO VIEW THE SAFETY PROCEDURES UPON CHECK IN AND SIGN THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.

EARLIEST ARRIVAL TIME ALLOWED: 4:30 PM

ALL UNITS SHOULD HAVE EMERGENCY NUMBERS AND ALL UNIT INFORMATION IN COMPETITIONSUITE UP TO DATE PRIOR TO ARRIVING TO CHECK IN.

REMINDER TO UPLOAD MUSIC FILES AND COMPLETE THE SPIEL SHEET BY THURSDAY BEFORE THE CONTEST.

UNIT CREDENTIALS:

  • Performers with contest issued wristband are complimentary backside seating.
  • Additional backside seating or floor/prop crew beyond 10 are $3.00 each - cash or checks made payable to contest host.
  • Unit Directors/Staff complimentary with issued 2024 NTCA badge; $15.00 admission without badge.
  • School Administrators, Band Directors, Bus Drivers are complimentary with their school issued ID.

SPECTATOR ADMISSION:

THIS IS A CASHLESS CAMPUS. BE PREPARED TO PURCHASE TICKETS AND CONCESSIONS WITH CREDIT.

  • Spectator admission is $15.00 for adults.
  • Children 7 and under are free.
  • Children age 8 through High School (HS - with Student ID) are $5.00 for front side seating.
  • College Students are considered adults and pay $15.00 admission for front side seating.
  • School Administrators, Band Directors, Bus Drivers are complimentary with their school issued ID.
