NOTE: THESE ARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MANSFIELD HS CONTEST

DIRECTORS: BE SURE TO REVIEW THE 2021 EVENT PROTOCOLS ATTACHED BEFORE ARRIVING TO THE EVENT.

FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL OF OUR STAKEHOLDERS, NTCA WILL OBSERVE THE PROTOCOLS ATTACHED INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

ALL INDIVIDUALS will be required to CLOTH wear masks at all times while inside including during performances on the competition floor and in warmup. Additional protection, such as a face shield, may be worn in addition to the cloth face mask, however, the cloth fitted face mask covering nose and mouth at all times is required as a minimum.

UNIT ARRIVAL/ENTRY

• UNITS WILL STAY ON BUSES UNTIL AT THE "CHECK IN" TIME.
• AT "CHECK IN", AN NTCA REPRESENTATIVE WILL MEET EACH GROUP UPON ARRIVAL TO GIVE ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS/REMINDERS
• UNITS WILL ENTER THE BUILDING AT THE "EVENT ENTRY" WITH ALL PERFORMERS, PROPS, FLOOR, FLOOR CREW, ETC. AND STAY TOGETHER THE ENTIRE TIME IN THE FACILITY.
• UNITS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE BUILDING UNTIL THEIR "EVENT ENTRY" TIME.
• UNITS WILL EXIT THE BUILDING FROM THE PERFORMANCE GYM WITH ALL PERFORMERS, PROPS, FLOOR, FLOOR CREW, ETC.
• CHANGING AREAS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

SOUND CHECK

• UNIT DIRECTOR OR REPRESENTATIVE CAN DO A SOUND CHECK WHILE THEIR UNIT IS ENTERING THE FLOOR, NOT TO EXCEED 20 SECONDS.

FLOOR FOLD

• ENTER BACK LEFT
• GO ACROSS THE BACK SIDE LINE
• PULL FRONT
• HORIZONTAL TIMING LINE
• QUICK TARP FOLD BEFORE EXITING PERFORMANCE GYM DURING INTERVAL TIME
• EXIT FRONT LEFT
• THERE IS NO FLOOR FOLDING OUTSIDE THE GYM, BE SURE TO PLAN FOR A QUICK FOLD AND PUT ON CART PRIOR TO LEAVING THE PERFORMANCE GYM (OR FOLD ON YOUR OWN OUTSIDE)

$10 Spectators (limited seating; stands cleared for safety cleaning every 5 units; re-entry allowed as long as space allows)

SPECTATORS SHOULD FOLLOW PARKING LOT DIRECTIONS OF WHERE TO PARK AND SPECTATOR ENTRANCE

ALL SPECTATORS, PERFORMERS, VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF ARE TO WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES IN THE BUILDING OF ALL 2021 NTCA EVENTS.

• Children age 8-High school front side $5
• Student rate applies to ages 8-high school only
• DUE TO LIMITED SEATING, NO PERFORMERS ALLOWED IN SPECTATOR SEATING
• College Students and all others pay regular spectator pricing
• NO Performer-back side seating in 2021
• Unit Director/Staff: two wristbands provided upon checkin
• School Administrator/Band Director/Bus Driver: Free with school badge/identification
